As for &quot;market driven&quot; and &quot;market based&quot; - while their current uses are understood, I think managers should learn how to develop markets within their organizations for their staff&#039;s contributions, to help discipline everyone actions without overly directing them.</description>

Koch&#039;s book, The Science of Success draws heavily on Hayek and other Austrian School economists and tries to create a coherent system for a company. It&#039;s fascinating reading. Koch calls his system &quot;Market-Based Management&quot; but that&#039;s something of a misnomer.
